Going for it's fourth year of activity the "Festival de Jazz de Viseu" was becoming seasoned. Consolidation was the prime objective for 2016 and a well thought out program helped bring in the biggest audience yet.
From my perspective, I wanted a more serious and clean look for the design. The previous naive and childlike drawings suddenly appear to make less sense. This option for a bright yellow background with stylized drawings helped to give it a fresh and contemporary approach without completely breaking with what was done in previous years.
